Civil XLr8 offers Standard and Custom Training for the InRoads Civil Engineering Product Suite.

Exploring InRoads

1-day introduction to InRoads.  Assuming you have a little CAD experience and no InRoads experience, after this class you will be ready to work with an InRoads team.  These are the absolutely essential display, evaluation and debugging skills you must have and will never outgrow.  At the end of this class, someone can hand you a .dtm and an .alg and no other information and you will be able to evaluate and critique the engineering.  Read More...

Building InRoads

Having mastered the display, evaluation and debugging skills in "Exploring InRoads" you now have the skills to Build Geometry and Surfaces in InRoads.  What makes our approach unique and, frankly, far superior, is that we introduce fundamental concepts in "little chunks," do a small lab, verify the results (using the Exploring InRoads skills), and incrementally add complexity.  We don't try to introduce more than one or two concepts at a time.  "Proposed Corridor Modeling" is introduced in as many as six manageable iterations.  Read More...

Mastering Storm&Sanitary

Hydraulic Jumps in Productivity!  Ten years of intimate involvement with the certification, development, training, and implementation of Storm&Sanitary (and its Intergraph precursors) show in both the Manual (termed "Priceless!" by one DOT representative) and the Instruction (passionate and extremely knowledgeable).  Read More...

XLr8'ed Training

We specialize in Custom Training for the portfolio of InRoads Civil Engineering Software.

Click on the the following custom class titles for information:

Build It Yourself with the following Modules:

  • Advanced Geometry
  • Ramps (matching geometry, merging, fast-cleanup)
  • Managing Standards
  • XML Reporting
  • Decision Tables
  • Advanced Surface Tools and Techniques
  • you name it...

Why Purchase Custom Training?

At one end of the Training spectrum is an off-site facility teaching a generic workflow to a cross-section of users from different environments with different levels of experience, different needs, different workflows and different ways of doing business.  On the other end of the spectrum, you have a well-qualified, well-experienced instructor, armed with standard and custom documentation and labs, responding to your questions and needs and able to sit down at your equipment to resolve your specific workflow problems.

It's the difference between academia and application.

We supplement standard documentation from our library of tips, tricks, and extended explanations and examples.

InRoads v8

InRoads version 8 represents a huge leap forward in design software philosophy.  Data-centric modeling means the end of dumb graphics and dumb-graphic rework!  This true paradigm shift in the relationship between data and graphics changes the way InRoads works and changes the way you should work with InRoads.  Learn how to capture the advantages of the new capabilities!

Storm&Sanitary

If you're doing Sewer Design, Modeling, or Inventory, you need to be using S&S.  It's powerful, inexpensive and easy to use and support.  A true time saver.

Take our  3-day Storm&Sanitary Training Course, featuring our own "Mastering Storm & Sanitary."  Jeff's experience writing major hydraulic training manuals since InSewer (Unix) shows in this extremely easy-to-follow and informative 250+ page Training Manual.  Combined with the robust dataset, this is the best S&S course on the market.

If you are already proficient with any of Intergraph's SelectCAD products, we can have you running Storm&Sanitary, productively and with good Quality Control,  in two days.

Jeff's  been intimately involved in the development of Intergraph's Water Resources Software beginning in 1992 at Intergraph Corporation developing the mixed (open/pressurized) HGL methodology for InSewer and InFlow.   He led the City of San Diego's implementation, documentation, training, and support for InSewer (Unix), InSewer NT and Storm&Sanitary and currently chairs the Bentley Water Resources Steering Sub-Committee.
