I am now a Bentley Employee, taking my passion for improving InRoads Training Materials (instructor-led and on-line systems) to the Bentley Institute.  My hope is to bring the InRoads Learning Experience up to the "World Class" stratosphere of excellence that the InRoads software has occupied for a long time.

Who "We" Are

Civil XLr8 is almost entirely Jeff Martin, a Professional Engineer registered in Florida and California.  InRoads and its related products has been the primary focus of Jeff's career since he worked at Intergraph in 1992-3.  He has provided engineering design services for large private companies such as HNTB, PBS&J, and PBQ&D, CH2M Hill, as well as training and consulting services to private and public agencies including eight Departments of Transportation.  He has presented classes or seminars at every Bentley International Users Conference or InRoads Conference between IGUG 2000 and BE 2004.

What We Do

InRoads is the industry-leading civil engineering software solution for design, modeling and planset production.  In its overall process there are two bottlenecks to productivity:  learning it and managing it.  These two areas are where designers lose time, money and quality.  This is where we focus our effort: clearing the choke points.

We Improve the InRoads Learning Process via Instructing and Consulting and the publishing of innovative InRoads Training Manuals that simplify a very complex software package.  Expect to see  On-Line Training on this very soon.

We Improve the InRoads Management Process by making available InRoads Management-specific tools and advice such Ini Manager (for free!) as well as provide implementation consulting.
